How to make a Mosquito Farm
That's what you will have if you don't add fish. Fish
not only add to the beauty and experience of your pond but they also stop this hole fill
of water from being a breeding ground for insects.
In this picture we are looking down and seeing the pump
as well as a top shot of one of the plants on a marginal shelf. The upper leftmost fish is
one of our Koi. For obvious reasons he has been named Tiger. The middle right most fish is
another Koi called Royal. The bottom of the picture show some of the comet goldfish given
to us by a friend. |

Look Real Hard
These guys are all waiting to be fed, the brightest
being Royal, but if you look close to the left of Royal's nose you see the third and last
Koi called Angel |

Shubunkins!?
Bless you! ... No Shubunkins are a type of goldfish we
have two. They were purchased with a gift certificate from two friends Mary and Midge. So
in return we call them ... Mary and Midge (Sorry Ladies) Let's find them here.
Royal with the red stripe around his neck is just below
Tiger. On Royal's tail is Midge. In front and just below Royal is a Gold Fish, just to the
left of that gold fish is a dark shadowed Mary. |

Midge
This is a top shot of Midge
I hope to get a better picture of both. |

Mary
Leftmost fish again is a poor picture of Mary, I'll get
a better shot of both of these camera shy ladies yet |
